Wellbeing @STC

Wellbeing @STC

At the heart of our community is a shared commitment to Wellbeing, creating a culture of mutual trust and respect where we can learn and teach together. We aim to provide a safe space to achieve common goals through the integration of three foundational aspects: Relationship Practices, Intellectual Wellbeing, and Support Systems.

By integrating these three pillars, we foster an environment where every member of our community is empowered to achieve their personal learning goals and experience sustained growth. This holistic approach ensures our community remains a place where we can collectively thrive, drive innovation, and make a positive impact both locally and globally.

Relationship Practices

We collaborate in a culture of mutual trust and respect, creating a safe space to learn and teach together and achieve common goals.

We cultivate strong, positive relationships for an equitable community where we all feel we belong.

Because we value our relationships, we restore harmony, promote empathy and facilitate thoughtful restorative action when harm occurs.

Intellectual Wellbeing

We embrace intellectual challenge in an environment that nurtures curiosity, creativity and critical thinking.

We empower ourselves, through the acquisition of skills and knowledge, to be agents in settings and achieving personal learning and wellbeing goals.

We apply our knowledge and practice skills to solve complex problems, drive innovation, and positively impact local and global communities.

Support Systems

We connect with students, staff and families to support individual and shared experiences and growth.

We proactively anticipate diverse needs and implement holistic measures to identify and address them in a timely manner.

We respond to individual and collective needs with agile, tailored support to ensure continued intellectual, social-emotional and physical wellbeing
